Outline Of Ramayan
Ramayana consists of seven chapters namely Bal
Kand, Ayodhya Kand, Aranya Kand,
Kishkindha Kand, Sunder Kand, Lanka Kand and Uttar Kand. Bal kand
deals with Bhakti Yoga. The aim and
object of Bhakti
Yoga is tenderly grooming of human values and human velour by austerity,
self discipline, self surrender and getting rid of egoistic tendencies to lead
a life of a perfect Nishkam Karmyogi and ultimately to attain the highest goal of
life, that is moksha or nirvana. It
creates a conducive atmosphere suiting to human nature, making it more and more
comfortable, convenient perceptible, conceivable and actionable so that when
one gets into Karm Kshetra
and is called upon to lead a public life or social life, he should be
able to discharge his social and public obligations with highest degree of self
confidence and self dedication. Bhakti Yoga
is a fore ground for Karma Yoga and Gyan
Yoga. Without it, almost it is impossible to lead a life of a perfect Niskam Karmyogi and
ultimately a Gyanyogi. The grooming by Bhakti Yoga, develops a balanced personality
in its outlook, out of which he maintains a tranquility under any turbulence. Bhakti Marg has got
three essential ingredients, namely ideal personality, full faith (shradha) in him and total surrender (samarpan).
